Welcome to the new Akron Independent Craft site!

Kate: I am inspired most by natural forms. I love to paint, sculpt, create, make and build all types of art. Anything from simple crafts to fine art and all the categories in between. My work does not fall into one category. I like to think that I can be inspired by an object but then I create my version of it. I do not try to fit into a bullshit box called "artist". Instead I intend to be creative in all ways and incorporate creation into the many facets of my life.
